NCM forecasts notable temperature decline in various Saudi regions today

Riyadh, February 03, 2024, The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued today's weather report, anticipating a significant drop in temperatures across most regions of the Kingdom. The sky is expected to be partly cloudy, with the likelihood of rain clouds forming in the Northern Border, Al-Jawf, and Tabuk regions.

In some areas of Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Hail, and the northern parts of Madinah regions, the weather conditions may lead to the formation of snow and fog. Residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions and stay informed about the changing weather patterns.

Over the Red Sea, northwesterly winds are forecasted at a speed ranging from 20 to 40 km/hour, with waves reaching heights between one and two meters. The sea is expected to be relatively calm. Meanwhile, winds in the Arabian Gulf will be northerly to northwesterly, with speeds ranging from 25 to 50 km/hour, and waves potentially reaching one and a half to two meters. The sea conditions in the Gulf are anticipated to range from relatively calm to choppy.

Residents and seafarers are urged to stay updated on the weather conditions, adhere to safety guidelines, and exercise caution, especially in areas prone to snow and fog formation. The NCM continues to monitor and provide timely updates to ensure the safety and well-being of the public.
