NCM Forecasts Thundershowers and Winds in Multiple Saudi Regions

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather forecast indicating the likelihood of thundershowers, accompanied by strong winds and dust, in certain areas of Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Northern Borders, and Hail regions today.


For the Red Sea region, the winds are anticipated to be northeasterly to northwesterly in the northern part, with speeds ranging from 15 to 40 km/h. In the central part, they are expected to be northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10 to 30 km/h, while in the southern part towards Bab el-Mandeb Strait, southeasterly to southwesterly winds at speeds of 15 to 35 km/h are forecasted. Thunderstorms are predicted in the central and southern parts of the Red Sea.


In the Arabian Gulf, the winds are forecasted to be northwesterly to northerly, registering speeds between 15 to 35 km/h. The NCM advises residents in these regions to stay informed about the weather updates and take necessary precautions.
