Riyadh, November 16, 2023, As reported by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), several regions, including Eastern, Riyadh, and Qassim, are expected to experience moderate to torrential thundershowers accompanied by strong winds and dust. Similar weather conditions, including thundershowers, strong winds, and the possibility of fog, are forecasted for Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah, Northern Borders, Jawf, and Hail regions. Additionally, temperatures are anticipated to be low in most areas.
Over the Red Sea, winds are expected to be northerly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, reaching speeds of 15 to 35 km/h. In the southern Red Sea, winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly with speeds of 15 to 35 km/h, accompanied by thunderstorms. In the Arabian Gulf, southeasterly to northeasterly winds are forecasted at speeds of 20 to 40 km/h, also with the possibility of thunderstorms.
