Riyadh, March 3, 2024, The National Center for Security Operations (NCSO) reported a substantial volume of emergency calls in the previous month, totaling 2,403,466, received through the 911 hotline from the regions of Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern Region. The management of these calls was efficiently handled by the 24/7 operational Unified Security Operations Centers 911, which directed each call to the appropriate security service or service provider.
Equipped with advanced automated systems and supported by a multilingual team, these centers ensure precise and swift call routing, maintaining a consistently high level of professionalism. The breakdown of emergency calls reveals that the 911 call centers in the Makkah region received 806,181 calls, while those in Riyadh attended to 1,110,099 calls. Simultaneously, the Eastern Region saw 487,186 emergency calls processed through the dedicated 911 services. This significant number highlights the vital role these centers play in promptly responding to and managing emergency situations across various regions.
