NEOM opens London office, advancing global sustainable development outreach

London, November 09, 2023, NEOM, the ambitious sustainable regional development project in northwest Saudi Arabia, has inaugurated its first international office in London, United Kingdom, marking a significant step in its global outreach. The opening ceremony was graced by Saudi Ambassador to the UK, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, UK Deputy Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Oliver Dowden CBE MP, and NEOM CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr, who addressed distinguished guests and strategic partners.


Situated in Holborn's central district at Chancery House, this office symbolizes NEOM's commitment to expanding its international presence, building on successful collaborations with UK entities. The new office is expected to foster further partnerships, strengthen existing relationships, and accelerate NEOM's endeavors to redefine livability, business, and conservation while addressing global challenges.


As the inaugural international office, the UK base will support NEOM's European operations, leveraging existing partnerships and fostering new connections with partners, investors, and stakeholders across the continent.


Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, emphasized NEOM's transformative global mission and the importance of the London office in introducing the project's vision and values to UK investors, organizations, and innovators.


The Rt Hon Oliver Dowden CBE MP, deputy prime minister of the United Kingdom, recognized the milestone as a vital integration of NEOM into London's financial and tech ecosystems. He highlighted the potential for London to become a hub for NEOM's design and project management activities, promoting investment and growth across the UK.


Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM, underscored the project's global outlook and commitment to collaborating with bright minds worldwide to address pressing global challenges. The choice of London for NEOM's first international office aligns with the goal of consolidating its presence in the UK and Europe. The office will facilitate further collaboration opportunities and showcase NEOM's unique capabilities and investment prospects.


Abdallah Alhazani will lead the new NEOM Europe entity as CEO, transitioning from his current role as an executive director of Oxagon, NEOM's center for advanced and clean industries. His previous role included serving as an executive director of NEOM Investment Fund, NEOM's strategic investment arm.
