NEOM Partners with Burgess to Elevate Sindalah's Yachting Experience

NEOM, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, NEOM, the groundbreaking futuristic city in Saudi Arabia, has entered into a strategic partnership with Burgess, a leading global superyacht provider. This collaboration aims to offer a comprehensive suite of services to Sindalah's yachting clientele, aligning with NEOM's vision of establishing Sindalah as a premier global yachting destination. The agreement, ahead of Sindalah's anticipated opening in 2024, reinforces NEOM's commitment to providing a luxury lifestyle experience and creating a significant presence on the global yachting calendar.


Situated off the coast of NEOM in north-west Saudi Arabia, Sindalah is set to become NEOM's first unveiled asset. It will boast a world-leading yachting ecosystem, making Sindalah marina a central hub for global yachting enthusiasts. As part of the partnership, Burgess will offer an array of luxury services, including yacht management, charter and charter management, sales and purchase, yacht insurance, new build and refit projects, yacht marketing, and procurement.


Antoni Vives, Chief Urban Development and Islands Officer at NEOM, expressed the commitment to establish Sindalah as a distinctive yachting destination. He highlighted the significance of chartering in enhancing the yachting experience and emphasized the partnership with Burgess to enable and enhance this critical activity from the launch of Sindalah.


Burgess, with its established presence in the Middle East since 2016, is well-positioned to cater to the growing demand for superyacht services in the region. The company will provide Sindalah guests with top-notch services, ranging from bespoke superyacht charters to managing the logistics of chartering yachts in the Red Sea.


Jonathan Hind, Managing Director of Burgess Middle East, expressed excitement about being part of this new development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at NEOM. He affirmed Burgess's commitment to ensuring that Sindalah offers superyacht clientele an exceptional and seamless experience.


The partnership also acknowledges the crucial support of the Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA), which plays a key role in enabling and regulating coastal tourism activities. SRSA's yachting-friendly regulations issued in 2023 facilitate smoother customer journeys for marine operators, ensuring sustainable practices and environmental preservation in the Red Sea.
