This article highlights the launch of the Maheerah Network—a groundbreaking initiative unveiled during the Athar Saudi Festival of Creativity in Riyadh. This Vision 2030-aligned program reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to nurturing female talent and building a knowledge-based, inclusive economy.
Women Power Saudi Creative Future
Saudi Arabia is investing in the next generation of female creative leaders. On May 17, 2025, at the Athar Saudi Festival of Creativity, the Maheerah Network was officially launched in Riyadh—a year-round platform designed to train, connect, and inspire women entering the creative marketing field.
Created by Publicis Groupe KSA, the initiative is expert-led by women and supports rising talent with real-world experience, mentoring, and leadership development. CEO Adel Baraja emphasized that success in creative strategy comes from on-the-ground learning, not just classroom theory—a gap Maheerah aims to bridge.
The launch featured a dynamic panel titled “Owning Your Voice: Authentic Female Leadership in Saudi Arabia,” where Nadin Al-Alami of MSL KSA spoke about the importance of purpose-led, trust-driven leadership—especially with Generation Z now forming a majority of the creative workforce.
“Without authentic leadership and cultural intelligence, there’s no way forward,” she said. She described Saudi Arabia’s national Vision as one built on innovation and cultural transformation—values that must be reflected in workplace dynamics too.
Nada Hakeem, co-founder of Wetheloft, noted how empathy and purpose are reshaping creative hiring trends. Young professionals today aren’t just seeking a job—they want to contribute meaningfully. “Empathy is essential in marketing,” she said, “and women naturally bring that strength into the creative space.”
The Maheerah Network builds on Vision 2030’s goal of empowering women, unlocking talent, and establishing Saudi Arabia as a global cultural and creative hub. With women now leading in communication, design, and strategy, Saudi Arabia is not only developing inclusive industries but also redefining creative leadership with values that resonate across generations.
