Riyadh, September 25, 2023, The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), in partnership with the Saudi Ports Authority and Business France, recently organized the Saudi French Maritime Symposium in Al-Khobar governorate. The event drew France's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ludovic Pouille, as well as government officials and representatives from both countries' private sectors.
The symposium provided a platform to highlight Saudi Arabia's evolution into a global logistics hub and to explore various initiatives aligned with Vision 2030, including the Smart Ports initiative. Key discussions covered sustainable practices in the maritime industry, improvements in transportation operations, and ways to enhance the investment climate. Additionally, participants examined commercial and investment prospects between Saudi Arabia and France.
The overarching goal of these deliberations was to nurture fresh opportunities and collaborations between the two nations, strengthen bilateral communication, and establish mutually beneficial economic partnerships.
