Riyadh, March 5, 2024, The National Labor Observatory (NLO) has released a comprehensive report detailing the statistics of the Saudi private sector job market for February 2024. The report provides insights into various aspects, including the total number of employees in the private sector, the gender distribution of citizens and residents, net job growth among citizens, and the number of new and first-time employees during the month.
The key highlights from the report indicate a notable increase in job opportunities within the private sector, with the total number of employees reaching 11,155,053 by the end of February.
In terms of Saudi citizens employed in the private sector, the report reveals that 2,343,677 individuals were part of the workforce in February. This figure comprises 1,381,987 men and 961,690 women, showcasing a diverse representation within the sector.
Additionally, the report outlines that 8,811,376 residents contributed to the private sector workforce during the same month, with 8,462,484 men and 348,892 women playing essential roles in various capacities.
Furthermore, the report sheds light on the recruitment landscape, indicating that in February 2024, 26,694 citizens joined the private sector for the first time. This highlights a continuous effort to integrate new talents into the workforce, contributing to the growth and dynamism of the private sector job market in Saudi Arabia.
