Saudi Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, disclosed that the Northern Borders Region hosts 25% of the Kingdom's mineral wealth, valued at SAR1.2 trillion. Speaking at the Northern Border Investment Forum, he highlighted the region's competitive edge, particularly in phosphate resources, with infrastructure investments exceeding SAR120 billion. Plans for potential SAR80 billion investments in phosphate projects were also revealed. The forum, attended by 600 investors, showcased 157 opportunities across various sectors, totaling nearly SAR22 billion.
