Idlib, December 11, 2024 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued its vital support for earthquake victims in northern Syria by distributing 1,000 food baskets and 1,000 hygiene kits in the towns of Sarmada and Idlib. This latest aid delivery, which directly benefited 6,000 individuals, marks the second phase of a larger relief project aimed at assisting families devastated by the catastrophic earthquakes that struck the region earlier this year.
In line with Saudi Arabia’s commitment to humanitarian aid, this distribution forms part of KSrelief’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable populations in Syria. The food baskets provide essential nutritional support, while the hygiene kits offer critical sanitation supplies to those affected by the disaster.
This initiative underscores KSrelief’s dedication to supporting communities in need and assisting the recovery efforts in the wake of the earthquake, contributing to both immediate relief and longer-term recovery for the Syrian people. Through these continuous efforts, Saudi Arabia remains a key player in providing humanitarian assistance to the region, ensuring the well-being and dignity of those affected by the crisis.
