Jeddah, October 20, 2023, The Israeli occupation's targeting of the Greek Orthodox Church in Gaza, which resulted in the deaths of numerous people, including women and children, has been denounced by the Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The OIC reiterated its call for immediate action from the international community to stop the brutal Israeli military aggression against the Palestinian people, warning of the threat of the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe brought on by Israel's policy of collective punishment and the siege it imposed on civilians in Gaza, in addition to starvation and the deprivation of water, medicines, food, electricity, and fuel, among other basic needs, which constitutes a war crime and a crime against humanity.
