Jeddah, February 21, 2024, The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed deep regret over the UN Security Council's failure to adopt the draft resolution aimed at ending the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip. The OIC also expressed disappointment in the United States' use of veto on the resolution, characterizing it as a negative reflection of the Security Council's role in maintaining international peace and security, protecting civilians, and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. The OIC renewed its call on the international community, especially the Security Council, to take urgent measures to stop the genocide facing the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
