Jeddah, September 27, 2023, The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) General Secretariat denounced the Houthi attack on a task force from the Kingdom of Bahrain that was taking part in Operation Restore Hope and stationed on the southern border of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which claimed the lives of an officer and a service member and injured others. The two martyrs' families, the Bahraini government, and the people all received heartfelt condolence messages from OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha, who also wished for the injured to recover quickly. Taha emphasized that such provocative acts are incompatible with successful attempts to put an end to the crisis in Yemen.
