Jeddah, April 11, 2025, The Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes against Palestinians documented, between April 1 and 7, 2025, the commission of 2,725 Israeli crimes, the most prominent of which was the murdering of 31 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in the bombing of the “Dar Al-Arqam” school for displaced people in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
The observatory stated that journalists were murdered, and a video emerged detailing the field execution of 14 individuals, including a UN employee. Israeli forces also bombed a clinic affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), resulting in 55 Palestinian deaths, primarily women and children, while settlers set fire to a plot of land belonging to UNRWA in Al-Quds.
These actions occurred amidst a severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with the World Food Programme (WFP) forced to close bakeries due to shortages caused by the ongoing closure of aid crossings. Israel also intensified preparations to encircle Rafah, demolishing homes and expanding buffer zones, mirroring actions in northern Gaza amid displacement plans. Control over the Morag Corridor was announced as part of a broader strategy.
The observatory recorded 400 Palestinian deaths and 1,112 injuries in the first week of April alone, bringing the total death toll since October 7, 2023, to over 51,700, with over 122,175 injured during the same period. In the West Bank, Israeli forces conducted 184 raids, arrested 179 Palestinians, and demolished over eight homes. Infrastructure damage was also reported. Abuse of Palestinian children in the West Bank continued, with two killed and three injured by Israeli forces and nine arrested. Mosques were targeted, with extremists storming Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Settlement activity saw the confiscation of land for buffer zones and settlement expansion, with settlers establishing new outposts and attacking Palestinian towns and villages, including damaging olive trees, stealing livestock, cutting power, and burning houses and vehicles in 39 separate incidents.
