Jeddah, February 06, 2024, Yesterday in Jeddah, Hissein Taha, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), hosted a meeting with Michael Kindsgrab, the German Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Dr. Eltje Aderhold, the Consul General and Special Envoy of Germany to the OIC. The purpose of the meeting was to explore avenues for enhancing dialogue and cooperation between the OIC and Germany, with a particular focus on addressing the Palestinian issue and the situation in Gaza.
During the discussions, Taha emphasized the urgent need for the international community to take decisive measures to halt all forms of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. He also underscored the importance of continued efforts towards the implementation of the two-state solution, which remains crucial for achieving a lasting peace in the region.
