Jeddah, August 03, 2023 Today, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissain Brahim Taha, had a meeting in Jeddah with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Janet Alberda.
During the meeting, they discussed the potential for building stronger relations between the OIC and the Netherlands, as well as exploring ways to improve dialogue and cooperation. The two sides had a discussion about a few important issues that they both care about. One of the main topics was the ongoing problem of crimes like disrespecting and burning copies of the Holy Qur'an. This discussion took place after the 18th special session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC, which happened on July 31.
