The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General, Hissein Brahim Taha, emphasized the significance of digitization in empowering youth throughout member states.
Taha demanded more funding for digital infrastructure as well as actions that would allow youth to participate in sustainable development.
In order to highlight the need of reviewing progress toward the OIC's youth-focused objectives, he made a connection between International Youth Day and the approaching UN Summit of the Future.
