On HRH Crown Prince's recommendation, the custodian of the two holy mosques certifies the naming of a road in Riyadh in honor of the late Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsen

- Prince Badr made significant contributions to the kingdom through his revitalization of Nabati poetry and his impact on Saudi and Arab literature.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman recommended that a road in Riyadh be named after the late Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

There were regional differences in the decrease in sand and dust storms. In Qassim and the Northern Border, it hit 100%, while in the capital, Riyadh, and in the Ea- Prince Mohammed bin Salman suggested that one of the main roads in Riyadh be named after the late Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.


Prince Badr will be honored on the road, per a decree from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. stern regions, it came to 80%.


Prince Badr's revival of Nabati poetry and influence on Saudi and Arab literature brought great benefits to the country.





His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, had mooted renaming a road in tribute to Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, after his passing away on June 3rd, 2024, in Riyadh. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, ordered the renaming of the route in memory of Prince Badr. The above-mentioned route is situated to the west of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, and is linked to King Salman route to the north, and Al-Thumama Road to the south.


 This decision acknowledges the significant contributions that the late prince made to the kingdom, as well as his one-of-a-kind literary experience, which revitalized Nabati poetry and had a significant impact on Saudi and Arab literature. Born in Riyadh on April 2, 1949 (equivalent to Jumada Al-Akhirah 4, 1368 AH), Prince Badr dedicated half a century to igniting national passion through his songs, performed by renowned Saudi performers. Numerous Saudi artists sang his lyrics. His lyrics established memorable national operettas. With the warmth of his words, the elegance of his rhymes, and the uniqueness of his style, he established himself as a Saudi Arabian classic that will last for generations.As the chairman of the board that formed the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in 1973, he made a substantial contribution to the development of Saudi intellectuals and artists.This was a proclamation done in respect for the astute leadership showing reverence for the legacy of the late prince.


In the year 2019, the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques institution awarded him the King Abdulaziz Sash. That particular year, on World Poetry Day, UNESCO awarded him on World Poetry Day in the year 2019.
