According to a recent press release from the OPDC, THE RIG. Masterplan is set to redefine tourism and align with PIF’s strategic goals as outlined in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. THE RIG. CEO, Raed Bakhrji, provided insights into the grand vision, stating that the adventure tourism and hospitality experience will span a substantial gross floor area exceeding 300,000 square meters. Positioned 40km from the coastline near Al Juraid Island and the Berri Oil Field in the Arabian Gulf, THE RIG. is expected to draw over 900,000 annual visitors by 2032.
