The Roads General Authority of Saudi Arabia has announced the upcoming Road Safety and Sustainability Conference, which is set to take place on November 3 and 4, 2024, in Riyadh. In a press release issued today, the authority shared that the event will bring together over 1,000 participants from 50 countries, making it a significant global platform for addressing key issues related to road safety and sustainability.


The conference will focus on a wide range of topics that are critical to the future of transport and mobility. Participants will explore international best practices and cutting-edge technological advancements in the field of road safety. A major emphasis will be placed on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent transport systems in shaping future transport strategies. These systems have the potential to enhance road safety, improve traffic management, and increase the overall efficiency of transport networks. Moreover, the conference will feature discussions on innovative solutions and policies aimed at reducing emissions, thus addressing the growing concerns about the environmental impact of the transport sector.
