Over 100,000 hours of volunteer work have been done to serve guests at the prophet's mosque before the hajj.


- The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has increased the number of volunteer services in preparation for the Hajj season in Madinah.


- 6,000 male and female volunteers were recruited to participate in fifty different social and humanitarian activities.


- The volunteers provided assistance to pilgrims, including help with missing individuals, crowd management, multilingual support, meal delivery, and monitoring of health conditions.


The 11th of June, 2024, Madinah: In preparation for the Hajj season that will begin this year (1445 AH) and the arrival of pilgrims in Madinah, the General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has boosted the number of volunteer services that it provides. The department of the authority that is in charge of social and volunteer programs recruited 6,000 male and female volunteers between the middle of the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah and the fourth day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah and beyond. Volunteers participated in fifty different social and humanitarian volunteer activities, contributing more than one hundred thousand hours to the cause of assisting the pilgrims. A guide and assistance, including help with missing individuals, crowd management, multilingual field support, the delivery of meals and Zamzam water bottles, and monitoring of their health conditions, were part of the services offered to pilgrims.
