MAKKAH, March 31, 2025 — A total of 122,286,712 visitors were welcomed at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah during the holy month of Ramadan, according to Eng. Ghazi Al-Shahrani, CEO of the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.


Al-Shahrani reported that 16,558,241 people performed Umrah, while 92,132,169 worshippers visited the Grand Mosque and 30,154,543 visited the Prophet’s Mosque.


He extended his warm congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.


Al-Shahrani also expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed to serving the guests of Allah, praying for their efforts to be rewarded.
