Riyadh, October 09, 2023, More than 16,000 people used the lanes and parking spaces designated for taxis bringing visitors to the Riyadh International Book Fair 2023, as well as ride-hailing services used for the same reason, according to the Transport General Authority (TGA). Thus, these modes of transportation were used for more than 9,000 trips from September 28 to October 7. According to TGA, the project was undertaken to provide people with a variety of transportation options, enhance traffic in the neighborhoods surrounding the fair, and enhance visitor happiness, safety, and security.
