Makkah, March 29, 2025 – Over 2.5 million worshippers attended the Isha and Taraweeh prayers on the 29th night of Ramadan at the Grand Mosque, marking the completion of the Quran recitation, in a peaceful and spiritual environment.

The Grand Mosque saw large numbers of pilgrims and worshippers filling its halls, courtyards, the Mataf, and surrounding roads, performing their rituals in a smooth and safe manner.

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque mobilized all its resources through coordinated efforts with relevant authorities to accommodate the worshippers, assist in their movement to prayer areas, and ensure access for the elderly and people with disabilities.

Integrated crowd management and guidance plans were implemented, with well-marked pathways to streamline movement. Additionally, trained personnel were stationed to assist visitors and pilgrims, providing support in multiple languages.
