Over Five Million Worshippers Perform Prayers at Prophet's Mosque Last Week

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque facilitated services for 5,410,089 worshippers and visitors last week, including paying respects and performing prayers.

Madinah, September 14, 2024 — Last week, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque delivered comprehensive services to the mosque, which welcomed 5,410,089 worshippers and visitors. According to the authority's recent report, which details the range of services provided, 477,245 visitors paid their respects to the Prophet Muhammad and his two companions, while 230,823 engaged in prayers at the revered Rawdah. Additionally, communication services in various languages were utilized by 77,054 visitors from diverse nationalities.



The services also included the distribution of 1,570 tonnes of Zamzam water, alongside 24,176 litres of sterilization and disinfection solutions. The authority collected and analyzed 178 samples for quality control. Furthermore, 144,352 iftar meals were provided in designated areas of the mosque to support fasting individuals.
