Pakistan Senate Chairman Receives Imam of Prophet's Mosque in Madinah


Dr. Salah bin Muhammed Al-Budair, Imam of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and Yusuf Raza Gilani, Chairman of the Pakistani Senate, met to talk about Islamophobia and the significance of spreading the true teachings of Islam.


Gilani commended Saudi Arabia's efforts in battling extremism and terrorism while encouraging moderation, and he expressed gratitude to them for their support during natural catastrophes and crises.


Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, along with other senatorial representatives from Pakistan attended the conference.



"Islamabad, August 10, 2024." The Imam and Khatib of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair, was received by Yusuf Raza Gilani, the chairman of the Pakistani Senate, yesterday. The meeting's goal was to talk about Islamophobia and how important it is to combat it by spreading knowledge of Islam's true teachings in order to represent the true ideals of the Islamic faith.


 The chairman expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and its people for their unwavering support of Pakistan during natural catastrophes and other emergencies. He also praised Saudi Arabia for its efforts to counter terrorism and extremism while advancing the ideas of balance and moderation.


 The conference was attended by representatives of the Pakistani Senate as well as Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan.
