The Imam of the Prophet's Mosque in Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair, met with Pakistan's President, Dr. Arif Alvi. The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan was among the other officials present at the meeting, which was held in the Presidential Palace.
Dr. Alvi underlined the significance of Muslim unity at this time as well as the solid alliance between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Today, August 9, 2024, Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair, the Imam of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, met with Dr. Arif Alvi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Presidential Palace served as the venue for the meeting. Other officials were present as well, such as Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki.
As he welcomed the Imam and his delegation, Dr. Arif Alvi highlighted the close relations and collaboration that exist between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He emphasized how critical it was for Muslims to unite during this critical time.
Sheikh Al-Budair thanked everyone for their kind welcome and prayed for Pakistan's stability as well as the peace and prosperity of all Muslims.
This trip was created as part of a program to enable visits by Imams of the Two Holy Mosques to other nations by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance in coordination with other government agencies.
