Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair, the Imam and Khatib of the Prophet's Mosque of Madinah in Islamabad, met with Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, the governor of Sindh Province in Pakistan.
An itinerary of visits by Imams from the Two Holy Mosques is being organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.
Tessori commended Saudi Arabia's efforts to meet the requirements of pilgrims and holy places, and emphasized the kingdom's support for Pakistan. Sheikh Al-Budair prayed for harmony, wealth, and goodwill between the two nations.
"Islamabad, August 11, 2024." Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, the governor of Sindh Province in Pakistan, met with Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair, the imam and Khatib of the Prophet's mosque in Madinah, while Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, was present. This meeting was held in Islamabad on Saturday.
This visit is part of a series organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. These are visits by imams from the Two Holy Mosques.
Tessori emphasized throughout the discussion Saudi Arabia's steadfast support for Pakistan in the face of difficult conditions, keeping in mind the historical ties between the two nations. Additionally, he applauded the Saudi government's efforts to meet the needs of pilgrims and holy sites, particularly the expansion and improvement of amenities provided to pilgrims around the world to do the Hajj and Umrah.
Following this reply, Sheikh Al-Budair prayed to Allah Ta'ala for sustained security, prosperity, and peace between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. In addition, he prayed for the upholding of good relations between the two nations and the promotion of wealth and peace throughout the Islamic world.
