Participants in Quran writing competition express gratitude to Saudi leadership and ministry

Madinah, March 6, 2024, Participants in the International Competition for Writing the Holy Quran have conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance for their unwavering commitment to the Holy Quran and the Arabic language.

The competition, held in Madinah and meticulously organized by the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran, successfully concluded by honoring 30 accomplished calligraphers hailing from 12 different countries. Bilal Mokhtar, an Egyptian participant, expressed his joy in competing in Madinah and emphasized the immense honor it is to meticulously inscribe the letters of the Holy Quran.

Similarly, Mohamed Gad, also from Egypt, lauded the Kingdom's dedication to preserving the Holy Quran and the Arabic language. Abu Nooh Qassem, a Turkish participant, shared that his involvement included delivering a lecture on "The Approach of the Ancients in Writing the Holy Quran" and expressed gratitude to the ministry for hosting such a significant event.

The competition's victor, Mohammed Anas, described his triumph as "beyond words" and expressed deep appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for initiating and hosting the competition. Anas highlighted how the competition facilitated connections with calligraphers from around the world, underscoring the global significance of this event in promoting the art and reverence of writing the Holy Quran.
