Amman, October 19, 2023, Philippe Lazzarini, the commissioner general of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), met with Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, advisor to the royal court and supervisor general of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), today in Amman. The two parties discussed several matters of mutual interest and explored various areas of collaboration and coordination throughout the meeting. Lazzarini hailed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's assistance to UNRWA, noting the long-standing strategic ties between Saudi Arabia and UNRWA and expressing hopes for more collaboration. This assistance helped to improve the humanitarian circumstances of Palestinian refugees.
They also emphasized the significance of establishing humanitarian crossings and the expediency of getting aid to Gaza's residents.
