Pilgrims arriving in the Kingdom by air and sea ports are received by the Islamic Affairs Ministry.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance's Makkah branch welcomed pilgrims who arrived at the Holy Mosque by various modes of conveyance.

- To aid travelers in understanding the rites, the branch distributed enlightening and helpful books.

- Additionally, pilgrims were given a QR code that contained necessary applications to help them complete their pilgrimage properly.

Makkah, May 30, 2024. The Makkah branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance received pilgrims who came to the Holy Mosque from King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah; Taif International Airport; and Jeddah Islamic Port with huge hospitality. We provided them with a whole lot of informative and educational materials to help them learn about the ceremonies. They were also given a QR code to download on their phones. This code included necessary applications that would enable them to perform their pilgrimage in a proper and humble way. Upon reaching the entry gates, several pilgrims conveyed their appreciation to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for their tireless efforts in guiding and instructing pilgrims during the ceremonies. They also conveyed their appreciation to the Saudi government for its steadfast support and ceaseless efforts in serving Allah's guests and making travel arrangements for them.
