Sawani and Mashariq together distributed 10,000 packs of NOUG camel milk among all pilgrims who visited the sacred sites during Hajj event, which was held on June 12, 2024, Makkah.
This project comes in tandem with the declaration by Saudi Arabia of the year 2024 as the Year of the Camel. "It aims to highlight Saudi history, where for the first time, pilgrims will be introduced to Saudi products," the source explained.
It aims at improving the Pilgrim experience through healthy and wholesome beverages and increasing the production of camel milk in the country - which reflects interest by the Kingdom in providing high-quality services to the pilgrims.
Sawani, a Public Investment Fund camel dairy company, joined hands with Mashariq, the Southeast Asian Pilgrims enterprise, to distribute 10,000 packs of NOUG camel milk, which is Sawani's trademark brand, amongst the pilgrims who came to visit the holy sites in connection with Hajj. This event took place in Makkah on June 12, 2024. Not only does the project correspond with the Kingdom's proclamation that 2024 will be the Year of the Camel, but it also serves to promote Saudi history by introducing pilgrims to distinctive local things. The purpose of the collaboration is to enhance the pilgrim experience by offering a selection of beverages that are both nutritious and wholesome, as well as to expand the production of camel milk within the country. Through this act of kindness, the Kingdom demonstrates its commitment to ensuring that pilgrims receive services and goods of the best possible quality throughout their Hajj and beyond.
