Dammam, June 10, 2024. The Hajj committee of the Eastern Region branch of the General Presidency of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice continues to welcome and educate pilgrims. Each of the following border crossings is where the committee conducts its operations: Al Batha, Al Rub' Al-Khali (also known as The Empty Quarter), Salwa, and the King Fahd Causeway. They focus their work on raising awareness by disseminating written, visual, and audio content in over 15 different languages. The General Presidency grants them the most contemporary technology, which they utilize through a wireless device known as Mabroor.
In order to provide pilgrims with access to awareness content regarding Hajj, Umrah, and tourism, the Mabroor device takes advantage of Wi-Fi and its capabilities. In addition, the committee distributes smart awareness cards that contain QR codes. These cards allow for instant access to the pages for the Hajj, Umrah, and guest pages, as well as the Mabroor app. Additionally, the organization increases awareness through the use of roll-up displays, banners, and screens.Mohammed bin Marwaai Khawaji, who is the director of the branch of the General Presidency and the chairman of the Hajj committee in the Eastern Region, went to the headquarters of the commission in order to supervise the arrival of Hajj pilgrims.
