Malaysian capital, May 24, 2024. The Makkah Route Initiative was launched by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a revolutionary project to improve the comfort and effectiveness of the Hajj. Apart from aiding pilgrims in sacred locations, this project also helps them back home, starting from the time they depart and ending when they return. Now in its sixth year of operation, the Makkah Route program has reinforced Saudi Arabia's commitment to providing outstanding Hajj experiences. The project, which initially fed pilgrims from seven different countries, intends to broaden its scope to serve worshippers from a greater variety of ethnic backgrounds. One of the best examples of Saudi Arabia and Malaysia's close cooperation is the Makkah Route initiative in Malaysia.

Our shared goal in creating this all-inclusive system of state-of-the-art services was to ensure that everyone had an easy and convenient Hajj. The initiative combines state-of-the-art technology in several areas to guarantee a smooth travel experience, such as automating health checks and visa issuing, streamlining passport processing, and marking luggage. The second Mango Festival is now being held at the Al-Makhwah Governorate by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture as a gesture of goodwill. For the occasion, thirty farmers, officials, members of the business community, and wealthy families from the Al-Makhwah market gather.

All of them care about mangoes which grows in their area of residence. They are not sitting aloof watching but are part of it, taking part actively. This represents what defines every other part within this district including provision of good services when it comes to Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages. It is evident from this endeavour that all together we can boost our Hajj experience in a big way. We extend an invitation to all travelers anywhere in the world.
