Riyadh, September 20, 2023, Preparations are being made for the 93rd National Day celebrations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Military parades and aerial displays will take place over different parts of the Kingdom to celebrate Saudi Arabia's past and present successes in implementing Saudi Vision 2030. Musicians from the Saudi Royal Guard Presidency, the Ministry of National Guard, and the General Directorate of Border Guard will perform alongside a procession of military troops and vehicles on horseback at 4:00 PM in Riyadh.
Starting on Prince Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Road and ending in Umm Ajlan Park in the Al-Qirawan neighborhood, the procession will be a chance to reflect on the nation's achievements over the past few decades.
Under the slogan "We Dream and Achieve," a number of activities will be held in honor of Saudi Arabia's National Day this year. The "We're Racing Dreams" air show will be the highlight, with military and civilian aircraft performing over Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar to show off the Kingdom's flag. On September 23rd, there will also be air shows in the cities of Taif, Al-Baha, Asir, and Tabuk.
On September 19, there will also be comparable air shows above Dammam's Eastern Corniche, Jubail's Al-Fanateer Corniche, and Al-Ahsa's King Abdullah Environmental Park.
Aerial displays will also take place above the Northern Corniche in Jeddah on September 20 and the Al-Khobar Corniche on September 27.
On September 30, there will be a performance above the King Saud Air Base at Hafr Al-Batin, and on October 2, there will be a spectacle over the Al-Jouf Air Base.
A Boeing 787 from Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) and an Airbus A320 from Flynas will take part in the event, which will take place in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar as part of the celebrations.
Throughout 13 different cities—Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Jouf, Jubail, Al-Ahsa, Taif, Al-Baha, Tabuk, Abha, Khamis Mushait, Al-Khobar, and Hafr Al-Batin—the Royal Saudi Air Force will put on airshows, including their Typhoon, F-15S, Tornado, and F-15C aircraft.
The Saudi Falcons Aerobatic Team will put on air performances in multiple cities, complete with formations and aerial stunts.
Next Saturday, the Naval Forces in Jeddah will display maritime vessels and boats of the Special Marine Security Group in addition to the helicopter air show, a military march with vehicles, another for riders and infantry, and a cavalry parade, all of which the Royal Saudi Navy will participate in. There will also be a display of military hardware and weapons.
In addition to Saudi folklore displays and activities for children, Al Fanateer Beach in Jubail will hold an air show with helicopters, a parade of military vehicles and another for riders, free leaping while waving the Saudi flag, a marine boat parade, and a military skills faction.
The Presidency of the Royal Guard, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Guard, the Presidency of State Security, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Matarat Company, the Saudi Air Navigation Services Company (SANS), the Saudi Aviation Club (SAC), Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA), Flynas, and the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) will all be present at the air shows and broadcast the National Day Parade live.
