June 9, 2024, San Jose. A meeting between the President of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, and Adel Aljubeir, the Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy, took place on the fringes of a high-level ocean action gathering. During the meeting, Aljubeir conveyed the greetings of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, Aljubeir expressed their hopes and wishes for Costa Rica's continued development and prosperity. During the meeting, both parties discussed opportunities to enhance their collaboration in a wide range of domains, as well as regional and international challenges that are of mutual importance.
