In Dushanbe, President Emomali Rahmon of the Republic of Tajikistan welcomed Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), along with Saudi Ambassador to Tajikistan Waleed bin Abdurrahman Al-Rasheedan and Tajik Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi.
The meeting served as a platform to reflect on the robust two-decade-long developmental ties between Tajikistan and the SFD. Both parties reviewed the extensive portfolio of projects and development programs implemented by the SFD across vital sectors in Tajikistan. These initiatives are geared towards fostering social and economic progress in Tajikistan, demonstrating the enduring commitment to the well-being of its people.
