Riyadh, December 10, 2024 – British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his official delegation concluded their diplomatic visit to Riyadh on Monday, marking the end of a productive trip that further strengthened the ties between the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia.
During his visit, Prime Minister Starmer engaged in key discussions on a variety of issues, reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two nations. His departure was marked by a formal farewell at King Khalid International Airport, where he was seen off by several prominent Saudi officials.
Among those in attendance to bid farewell to the British Prime Minister was Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, who played a key role in facilitating the visit. Also present were Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan, and Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, Saudi Minister of Commerce, underscoring the importance of economic ties between the two countries. Riyadh Region Mayor, Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, and UK Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Neil Crompton, were also on hand, as well as a number of other high-ranking Saudi officials.
