Cairo, August 15, 2023, In a diplomatic rendezvous today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, engaged in a high-level discussion in Cairo with his counterpart, Dr. Faisal Mekdad, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate of the Syrian Arab Republic. Amidst the backdrop of the Ministerial Contact Group on Syria, a significant meeting transpired. During their discussion, both ministers delved into the latest developments in the Syrian arena and the wider region. In a display of camaraderie, they exchanged their viewpoints on subjects of shared concern. In attendance at the meeting were esteemed individuals, including Dr. Saud Al-Sati, the Undersecretary for Political Affairs; Osama bin Ahmed Nuqli, the Saudi Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt; and Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, the Director General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
