Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, President of the Asian Triathlon Confederation and a member of the International Triathlon Union (ITU) Executive Board, actively participated in the ITU Executive Board meetings held today in Lausanne, Switzerland.
During the sessions, Prince Fahd bin Jalawi presented an overview of the Asian Confederation's achievements, detailing the various events and tournaments organized at the continental level in recent times. Additionally, he was present at the opening ceremony of the permanent headquarters of the International Triathlon Confederation, where ITU President Marisol Casado presided over the event.
The ceremony, attended by prominent figures in the sports world, including Dr. Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), underscored the importance of global collaboration in advancing sports and fostering international sports interaction. Dr. Bach expressed wishes for continued prosperity and development in the sport of triathlon.
