Riyadh, March 03, 2024, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the 159th Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) convened on Sunday in Riyadh.
The meeting, held at the GCC Secretariat General headquarters, was chaired by Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
Discussions during the Ministerial Council session centered on matters pertaining to collective Gulf cooperation, alongside deliberations on the latest developments at both regional and international levels. Notably, there was a focused discussion on the situation unfolding in the Gaza Strip and Rafah city.
Emphasizing the urgency of the situation, the Ministerial Council underscored the imperative of attaining an immediate ceasefire and establishing humanitarian corridors to facilitate the delivery of aid to those in need.
