New York, September 17, 2023, Taking over as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and a team from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia arrived in New York City, USA, today to attend the beginning of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The minister will participate in a number of official meetings to talk about international developments and initiatives aimed at bolstering the basis of international peace and security, as well as issues relating to human development, protecting planet Earth, and achieving sustainable development goals. Additionally, he will take part in a number of ministerial gatherings that are held at the level of the League of Arab States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
As part of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, Prince Faisal will also undertake bilateral talks with leaders of allied and friendly nations as well as representatives of international organizations.
