Riyadh, February 18, 2024, In a ceremony held at the Al-Janadriyah field in Riyadh, the winners of the inaugural Custodian of the Holy Mosques Camel Festival were officially crowned today, under the esteemed patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Acting on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, presided over the event.
Upon his arrival at the festival grounds, Prince Faisal received a warm welcome from Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), and Abdul-Ilah bin Saad Al-Dalak, Assistant Minister of Sport. The ceremony commenced with the playing of the royal anthem, signaling the start of the proceedings.
Following the anthem, Governor Faisal of Riyadh Region proceeded to present awards to the festival's deserving winners. As the festivities drew to a close, Prince Faisal extended gratitude and recognition to the sponsors who contributed to the success of the event.
