Jeddah, March 05, 2024, Today, amid the extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, convened with Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. Their discussions revolved around the pressing issue of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
Beyond addressing the immediate crisis, the ministers took stock of the existing bilateral relations between their nations and explored avenues for further enhancement. They exchanged views on potential strategies to strengthen these ties across various domains of mutual interest. Additionally, the ministers engaged in dialogue concerning the recent developments in the Gaza Strip and its environs, underscoring the collective efforts to address the ongoing challenges.
The meeting saw the presence of Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed bin AbdulKarim El-Khereiji alongside other officials, enriching the discussion with diverse perspectives and expertise.
