Their discussion revolved around the ongoing military escalation and the impact on unarmed civilians in Gaza.
During the call, Prince Faisal conveyed his gratitude for Ireland's support in favor of the United Nations resolution, which was adopted on October 27, 2023, and called for an immediate humanitarian truce in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Saudi minister underscored the critical role played by the international community in addressing these developments, emphasizing the urgency of establishing an immediate ceasefire, preventing further loss of life, safeguarding unarmed civilians, and averting the exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis.
