Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Foundation to Organize a Ceremony to Honor Best Charitable Performance in Cairo Tomorrow


Cairo, October 24, 2024 — The Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Foundation for Humanitarian Development, in collaboration with the Arab Administrative Development Organization of the Arab League, is set to host a prestigious ceremony tomorrow in Cairo to honor the winners of the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Award for Best Charitable Performance in the Arab World. This event aims to recognize and celebrate exemplary charitable efforts across the region, showcasing the commitment of organizations to humanitarian causes.


The foundation announced that the award's primary objective is to create valuable opportunities for charities and humanitarian organizations throughout the Arab world while promoting a culture of excellence within these institutions. By doing so, the foundation seeks to inspire a higher standard of charitable work and encourage innovation in addressing social issues.


A notable 300 charitable organizations applied for the award, reflecting a vibrant sector dedicated to humanitarian efforts. Out of these, 188 charities were nominated from various countries in the Arab region, demonstrating a strong commitment to charitable work. The nominations comprise a diverse range of organizations, including 51 large institutions, 70 medium-sized organizations, and 67 small charities, representing 17 different countries. This diversity highlights the widespread engagement in charitable activities and the significance of recognizing the contributions made by various organizations, regardless of their size.


The ceremony will not only honor the winners but also serve as a platform for sharing best practices, fostering collaboration, and encouraging continued excellence in charitable initiatives across the Arab world.
