Makkah, April 07, 2024, This evening at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, hosted President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince extended a warm welcome to President Mohamud, expressing his pleasure at the President's visit to the Kingdom. In turn, President Mohamud conveyed his happiness and gratitude for the generous hospitality and warm reception he and his delegation received.
The discussions between the two leaders encompassed a review of bilateral relations, areas of cooperation, and strategies to enhance collaboration, along with addressing various issues of mutual interest.
The gathering was attended by distinguished figures including Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, National Guard Minister Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan, General Intelligence President Khaled Al-Humaidan, Saudi Ambassador to Somalia Ahmed Al-Mawlid, and several senior officials from the Somali delegation.
