Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosts President Zelenskyy in Riyadh

Riyadh, February 27, 2024, Today in Riyadh, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of the Republic of Ukraine.

HRH the Crown Prince extended a warm welcome to the Ukrainian President upon his visit to the Kingdom. In reciprocation, President Zelenskyy expressed his delight at the opportunity to visit Saudi Arabia and meet with HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

During their meeting, both leaders conducted a comprehensive review of Saudi-Ukrainian relations. They also engaged in discussions regarding the ongoing Ukrainian-Russian crisis. HRH the Crown Prince reiterated Saudi Arabia's steadfast support for all international efforts aimed at resolving the crisis and achieving peace. Furthermore, he emphasized Saudi Arabia's commitment to providing humanitarian assistance to alleviate the plight of affected populations.

President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude and appreciation for the Kingdom's efforts in this regard.

Among those in attendance at the meeting were several key Saudi ministers including Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Energy; Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet Member; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sport; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense; Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; as well as Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Advisor; and Mohammed Al-Mas-har Al-Jibreen, the Saudi Ambassador to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian delegation was also represented by officials including Andriy Yermak, Head of the Presidential Office; Dmytro Kuleba, Minister for Foreign Affairs; Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister for Strategic Industries; Rustem Umerov, Minister of Defence; and Anatolii Petrenko, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
