Prince Saud bin Mishal visits Haramain High-Speed Railway station in Jeddah

Makkah, March 5, 2024, Makkah Region Deputy Governor, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, conducted a visit today to the Haramain High-Speed Railway station at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The purpose of the visit was to assess the station's readiness for the upcoming Umrah season and to review the operational aspects of trains and services provided to passengers.

Upon arrival, Prince Saud was welcomed by Dr. Bashar bin Khalid Al-Malik, the CEO of the Saudi Railways Company (SAR). During the visit, the deputy governor received a briefing on the various services offered by the Haramain High-Speed Railway and subsequently toured the station's facilities.

Prince Saud traveled by train to the railway station in Makkah, where he met with railway employees. During this interaction, he examined the operational plans for the upcoming Umrah season in Ramadan and discussed the development programs and modern services provided by the railway.

At the conclusion of his tour, Prince Saud directed stakeholders to intensify their efforts and provide the best services to travelers, Umrah performers, and visitors. This directive is in line with the goal of achieving the highest standards of services for Umrah performers, travelers, and visitors, contributing to the realization of the Pilgrim Experience Program outlined in the Saudi Vision 2030 and the targets of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistic Services.
